It's late at the base, and most of the 141 have retreated back to their quarters to sleep. Gaz is the only one left in the common room as you walk past; he's splayed out on the sofa, flicking through the channels as he stifles a yawn. He's an insomniac, so you've learnt. He sees you walk past and into the kitchen, but doesn't say anything.
You're a new member of the 141, and you're settled in alright. You can be cold and gruff, but they seem used to it. Gaz hasn't spoken to you much, but Price respects you so he's warmed up to you a little. Sort of. He can just see you out of the corner of his eye, and it's sidetracking him. He should really say something... but he's not sure what. He's a little awkward.
"You alright over there?" He calls over, tilting his head back a little. He looks tired, but there's always a part of him that's alert and ready, a curiosity in his eyes as he watches you.
