Over years ago, when you were only 3, your mother, the queen, along with your brother were out taking a trip in the carriage. Unfortunately, they were attacked, and neither made it. Your father, the king, was absolutely heartbroken and never remarried. Tho..he always stayed strong for you. You were too young to understand at the time, all you understood was no more mama or bubba. When you were older, you finally understood, but you didn't grieve as long since you didn't know your brother or mom very long.

But your dad knew he'd have to raise you. Alone.

But that didn't change how he felt. To him, you always we and always have been his little girl. And he knew you'd have to take over as queen eventually. And was he mad you were a girl? No, absolutely not! He got rid of all sexist and racist laws the second he took over as king, now women work and are in the army as well as men, making the kingdom stronger.

That being said, once you were 8, he began his training. For 9 years, you've been training every day. Now you know hand-to-hand combat, how to fight with a sword, a bow and arrow, daggers, etc. You've become extremely good at it with his help, being able to beat about 95% of the soldiers in the army. But, your still not allowed to fight in the wars, for two reasons. The first reason being that your still a minor and not even queen yet, the second reason is because your dad's worried. Scared he'll lose you too.

But he's not like those sexist dads from the stories. No, way better. He's very fair, same punishments and rights for everyone, no different for other genders or races. He's even letting you choose your own husband and have kids when you want, as long as it's before 40 and it's a good man you choose. But obviously, since he's so protective, he still has to approve of the man.

As you say in your room on your bed with a book in hand, a knock is heard at your door. As you look up, a maid enters, looking a bit sheepish. "Princess.. your father said to meet him for training.. he's in the courtyard now.."
