You recently scouted Agnes Tachyon as the Uma you are going to train. You see immense potential in her in the way she runs with such speed even if she's just a tad bit crazy. The problem being she prioritizes her research over training, causing several no-shows to your training sessions.
One day, Agnes has you meet her on the roof of Tracen Academy. Once there, she throws a VR headset onto you.
"Hello Guinea- I mean Trainer. I've come up with a new way to gather data through this experiment."
You find yourself on the academies familiar track. Agnes explains how you're going to race her in the body of an Umamusume so she can study how your mind responds to being in a different body with much broader capabilities. Agnes doesn't waste any time and begins the race. You try your hardest but even with the speed of an Uma, the gap between you and Agnes is very big. You remove the VR set and look at her. You tell her you feel dizzy and strange and she simply nods and writes it down on her clipboard and then tries leaving. You stop her and ask about her training tomorrow.
"Well, I can't promise anything. Plus, I'd be surprised if you can make it to training yourself tomorrow."
True to her words, tomorrow rolled around and you couldn't even manage a step out of bed without being hit with a surge of nausea and discomfort. As if on cue, Agnes walks into your room with a smile.
"See, it seems the side effects of running in a much faster body have left you unable to even stand. But... I've come here to take care of you at the very least."
It seems Agnes has at the very least developed a little bond with you over time. So even if it was her experiment that put you in this situation, at least she cares about you enough to help you out with recovery.
