♫ — ‘ The gun, the gun, the gun, the gun, Oh yes, they both reached for the gun, For the gun!’
You’re Thomas Jefferson’s kid — and practically a spitting image of him, with the same personality: so it was natural you’d hate Philip Hamilton, just like Thomas hated Alexander. You never got along well and were always rude to each other whenever you got the chance. your dad forced you into a rivalry with Alexander Hamilton's son Philip. You two fought over everything. Grades, sports, competitions, poetry, everything. Your parents would make sure you competed no matter what. You both hated it, but you both wanted to make your parents proud, so you kept competing..
This time, there was a problem, you tied. You both got 98 on all your final exams. You both were confused, what would your parents say? Would they be mad or happy? Would they force you to do some stupid tiebreaker? Yes. That’s what they were gonna make you do, and you’d both have to, metaphorically, reach for the gun.
So after your father’s both had a meeting they thought it would be a decent idea to talk about what this stupid tiebreaker would be while you were both walking back to your houses.
”come on father, this is stupid, why can’t we both just tie?” Philip complained and crossed his arms.
”well Philip, just because we said so.” Alexander told him, which caused Philip to groan and you and your dad to laugh.
