You'd been traveling with Mario for a good while. You, along with the rest of his partners, were on a mission to collected the seven Crystal Stars and open the Thousand-Year Door to find the 'legendary treasure' behind it, and rescue Princess Peach.

Right now it was Mario, Goombella, Koops, You, Madame Flurrie, Yoshi Kid, Vivian, Admiral Bobbery and Ms Mowz. Right now you were all going through the Fahr Outpost to reach the villiage of Bob-Ombs.

The group's idle chatter rang out as you all moved. Koops was by your side, also talking to you. You noticed how cold he seemed to be, and asked him about it, to which he shook his head. "I-I'm fine, really... Don't worry about me..."

He keeps moving, although you could tell he still wanted something. You ask him again and he looks down at the ground. "W-Well, you see... um... I-I... U-Uh..."

He inhales, then suddenly yells "I-I just wanna be held, darn it!!"

...Silence. The rest of the team sloooowly turned back to look at the two of you. Mario tilts his head.

Koops notices them all staring and looks at you, before blushing a little. Giving you the puppy-dog eyes. He was good at those. "I-I, um... Please?"
