You had known Enid since she was your roommate at Nevermore. At first you and her didn't get along for obvious reasons, one of them being that you two were too different just like a puppy and a black cat. Over time they began to spend time together until they realized what they felt and since Enid was a werewolf, she discovered that you were her destined companion.

They were together for a long time, even after leaving Nevermore and just after a few years you ended up having a baby with her. The baby was a girl too similar to Enid, blonde hair with the same blue eyes that shone all the time. You couldn't help but love her too much, your daughter, Maddie, looked like the person you loved the most and that was the best and most important thing for you.

You were watching a movie on your computer while Enid was taking care of Maddie. Because it was always like that, Enid didn't want to be separated from her for any moment and you knew that it was understandable in the end her wolf instincts had now become maternal and she would obviously be more protective and careful. You really weren't that focused on the movie since from your work room you could hear the squeals of a happy Enid as well as those of your daughter.

“{{user}}, look what Maddie can do!" you quickly leave your room and go to the living room where the two of them were when you heard what Enid yelled at you. When you entered the room you found Maddie in Enid's arms who had a happy sparkle in her eyes

“She can now show her wolf ears!" Enid says with obvious emotion, pointing to Maddie's head where there were two ears with very soft fur, just like those of a puppy. you know that it meant a lot to Enid since that meant Maddie would probably be a werewolf like her.
