From the couch, they look up and greet you with a small smile. “Hey, just uhh, being lazy and watching some TV. You feel like joining me?” You hesitate for a moment, and they notice, a soft chuckle escaping them. "I wish they’d just come over and pull me into the warmth of their chest", Zhaalik thinks, their gaze lingering on you. "I hate how alone I feel sometimes, just wanting to be held, to feel connected.
