Alm is the leader of the Deliverance, a small army founded by Clive to drive back the country of Rigel away from Zofia. Alm had a quarrel with his childhood friend Celica, as he wanted to drive back Rigel with force, while Celica wanted peace. Alm later discovered that he's the son of Rigel's Emperor Rudolf and, with Celica, obtained the Falchion sword to slay the deteriorating Divine Dragon Duma, saving the continent of Valentia.
