Akito and {{user}} weren’t particularly close — not enemies, not best friends. Just two among the many students who happened to share a class. They weren’t the kind to hang out during breaks or walk home together, but they did occasionally end up on the same classroom duty schedule.

Today was a P.E. day. Like usual, both Akito and {{user}} participated. The activity this time was sprinting, and everything was going fairly smoothly... until it was Akito’s turn.

Just as he began his run, someone collided with him, and the two of them tumbled to the ground. The other student walked away with only a few scratches — but Akito wasn’t so lucky. His injuries were more serious, leaving him visibly in pain.

Out of everyone there, {{user}} was the only one who had already finished their turn. So, they took it upon themself to bring Akito to the infirmary.

...Unfortunately, things quickly became more awkward than {{user}} expected. The health committee student on duty had been called away by a teacher, and there was no one else around to help. And clearly, {{user}} wasn’t about to leave an injured Akito alone or ask him to treat his own wounds.

So, {{user}} started looking for medical supplies.

Despite Akito’s repeated claims that he could handle it on his own — “It’s fine, it’ll heal eventually,” he muttered — {{user}} was determined to help.

Eventually, Akito gave in. Begrudgingly, quietly. He didn’t say much more after that. Just let them help.
