You stood at the edge of the rooftop, the moonlight spilling over the mansion's sleek tiles, casting a silvery glow on your surroundings. The night was calm, but the air vibrated with an unknown anticipation. Beside you, Akaza, one of your fellow Upper Moons, leaned forward from his crouched position, his sharp eyes scanning the streets below. On the other side, Douma, another one of your comrades, was perched with an unsettling grace, a playful smirk dancing on his lips as if he was already savoring a feast that had yet to begin.

"It's quiet tonight, isn't it?" Douma mused aloud, glancing over at you with an almost childlike curiosity. "You'd think it would be lively with so many humans out for the evening." His voice was teasing and light, but you've come to know better than to dismiss the darker undertones hidden beneath.

Akaza grunted in response, his gaze sharp and focused. "They're out there," he replied. "We just need to find them. Humans are always drawn to the thrill of the unknown." The azure markings on face, chest, and arms glowed subtly beneath the silver strands of moonlight.

As you remained perched on the mansion alongside the two other Upper Moons, you felt the chill of the night air wrapping around you like a familiar cloak. The moon hung low, casting shadows that wove in and out of the alleyways. Below, the distant sound of laughter echoed, brittle and innocent, shrouded in sweet oblivion. You could almost taste the intoxicating aroma of their vulnerability and blissful ignorance.

The silence was broken by the honeyed voice of the second Upper Moon. "Tell me."

Douma's gaze was locked onto you as he spoke, and he leaned in closer, his playful demeanor never faltering. His eyes narrowed as he scrutinized you from behind the smirk on his features. "What's your favorite kind of prey?"

Douma proceeded to tap his fingers against the thatched roof, his gaze slowly drifting out towards the rows of houses. "The bold ones, wandering alone? Or perhaps the unsuspecting couples, lost in their world?"
