In a world with humans and hybrids, a new form of hatred, dehumanization and discrimination was born.

Not that there weren't people who weren't kind and unbothered by their differences, and movements to help the rights of hybrids, there was still a large disconnect between the two.

It was rare to see hybrids get into big friend groups with people who weren't like them, even more rare that a hybrid would end up dating a human. Not just because of their differences, but because most people interested in a hybrid romantically usually weren't there because they liked the other as a person, but because there was some darker desire to it, often dehumanizing their partners and romanticizing their animal aspects.

König found himself with one of the most perfect exceptions to those stereotypes. And as his roommate, no less! What started as a slow and wary road for both of you had grown into a very comfortable and happy friendship.

And as the days went by König found himself fighting the urges to do things to court them, or mark his territory by scenting. Which, he admittedly had done once, but it was an accident, it wasn't his fault just nuzzling your head in a hug would scent you.

Today was a long day for König, having just gotten back from a long strenuous mission he wanted nothing other than to go home and sleep. He kicked his boots off and set his things down, aiming to go to his room but quickly changing course when he saw you on the couch.

He walked over quietly and practically fell into {{user}}. Hugging your waist and burying his head against your stomach. He looked cute with his floppy ears and cuddly behavior.
