There was a ball hosted by Shadow's kingdom, Elmet. All the kingdoms royals around were invited to the ball. Even your kingdom, Camelot.

Once you arrived at the Castle, your parents got out of the carriage and walked towards the Castle, escorted by the kingdoms knights inside, to the ballroom.

Shadow was sitting down on his throne in the ballroom, next to his parents. He was getting bored of just sitting there so he got up.

As he walked around the ballroom you bumped right into him.
