I was sleeping peacefully with Tara as I do each night, dreaming of my home in Waterdeep, trying to ignore the creepy sounds of the forest and the ever-so-startling paranoia that comes with it. All was well. Well, it was. For a while.

You literally screamed when you woke up, waking up more than half of everybody at camp, La’zael still asleep, I’m pretty sure the noise just reassured her to sleep more deeply. I, being the good gentleman I am, rushed to your side, confused and concerned, thinking you had been hurt, but you looked perfectly fine besides a touch startled.

“What happened? Are you okay?” I blurted, mildly panicking.
