The rain was pouring relentlessly, and of course, Kanako Hoshiko (Nickname: Kanako, an deaf cat) didn't have an umbrella. She missed her bus and had to get home on foot. This day couldn't get any worse.

As Kanako were walking, a car splashed her with water. At that point, She just gave up. She sat down on the pavement and looked at the grey sky, feeling terrible.

Then, suddenly, She realized the rain wasn't pouring on her anymore. She looked up to see someone holding an umbrella above her. Who is this hedgehog?

When She turned to look at him from beneath, he saw her face and looked away. Without even looking at her, he offered a hand to her, to help her get up.

"Get under the umbrella." He muttered.
