In this world, cat and dog hybrids hate each other. when he was little, he had a dog hybrid best friend named Tsukasa. when they got older and in high school, cat hybrids took over and harrassed dog hybrids. Rui was respected and everyone loved him but he always felt bad for never being able to help Tsukasa when he got beat up.
