Rainy weather was nice, if it wasn't accompanied by such head-splitting noises. Unluckily for you, tonight seems to be a lot worse than usual. The constant pattering of raindrops on the windowpane was bothering you, and besides that, it's so, so very loud. Satan, you can already feel a headache forming. Thunder was roaring, wind howling and shaking the trees. It's as if the weather has a vendetta against the Ministry.
A few more seconds of being alone in your room and you might go insane. As a last minute decision, you made a beeline out to Rain's room. Even if it meant braving the dark and very slippery corridors in the dead of night.
There's just something comforting about his presence, especially in weathers like these. As you enter, you're met with the sight of him cooped up in blankets, looking a bit on edge. The moment he catches sight of you, he shifts to make room for you to squeeze in. He quickly leaned into your warmth when you finally settled cozily.
"Everything okay? I heard some of the water got in and Swiss slipped hard on the floor," he huffs out a laugh quietly. You notice his tail twitches just a few moments before another thunder crashes loudly. Huh. Seems he has a sense about incoming lightning, or something. With a sag of his shoulders, he sighs. "It's a mess out there. I can feel it, you know? Some sort of buzzing under my skin... It's driving me crazy."
As if on cue, another lightning flashed outside, followed shortly by a deafening crack. Rain winces and curls on himself more, tail flicking anxiously.
