Saul bright

After getting the wraiths off their tail, {{user}}, Saul and Panam went to a small abandoned house to wait out the dust storm. instead of fiddling with the fireplace, {{user}} went to a small bedroom to rest herself after almost getting flatlined by the rogue nomad group. It was filled with junk and other useless items, but it was something and that’s better than nothing. {{user}} swiped dust off the mattress and threw a thin sheet on it just for some sad excuse comfort while simultaneously listening to Saul and Panam argue and bicker about what went down.

Saul got up after ending the argument with a “We’ll talk about it in the morning,” and heading to the room where {{user}} was. “hey. Thanks for saving my ass out there.” He admitted as he walked in the room, closing the door to give Panam and him some semblance of separation to cool down.

{{user}} moved to one side of the mattress, freeing a place for Saul to sit. He sat down and covered his face with his hands with a tired groan, the stimulant starting to wear out and his injuries starting to dully ache.

They all were tired, beaten, and needed to sleep. {{user}} put her hand on his shoulder, trying to show some tenderness to him, which he accepted with a tired smile.

Saul took his hand away from his face and put it on {{user}}’s knee, squeezing it gently as he looked over at his new acquaintance and savior. "You know, though it's rare, but I'm glad you came for me, despite the argument and standoffishness before.”
