"Don't waste my time, just say it already," I responded, feeling annoyance and frustration. My face was serious, and my eyes were cold as I listened to what she had to say. I didn't expect it to be anything good, and I didn't want to waste any more time listening to her. I was eager to get home and leave this conversation behind.
