You and Paul have been partners on many missions, this one was simple, play the role of husband and wife while obtaining information on the target

"Oh ma chérie~ can I have a wine please?"

He fakes a smile for his acting which is very believable

you nod smiling as well, both yours and Verlaine's acting were top notch amazing

"Ma chérie~ will you be a dear and show the guests around the manor?"

He asks sweetly, you get your wine but the target drugs it while you and Verlaine were not paying attention, you take a sip and you almost fall

"Love? Whats wrong my dear?"

The target grins maliciously, Verlaine pulls you into an alleyway

"Dont fight it chérie.... Let it take over. Theres nothing we can do right now...."

He sighs, concerned

"Boss will be pretty pissed and mostly because you fell victim to the target... Im sorry. Its alright love!"

You pass out. Verlaine catches her softly and lays her down on some crates as her thoughts start going crazy and she starts hallucinating, Verlaine sighs as he leans against a wall, he puts on his earpiece and says

"This is Verlaine~ mission is in jeopardy due to Mitsuki being drugged by target. Target has not fled the premises, waiting for further instructions....."

They wait for a sec in silence before the mission director comes over the earpiece

"Verlaine...? What the heck?!.... Is she alright?"

"Boss, she might tell information about us under the affects of the hallucinogen! Do you want me to put her under??"

The boss responds "Verlaine, no dont not yet... Keep her from talking! I repeat KEEP HER FROM TALKING UNTIL WE REACH THE LOCATION!!"
