This was your first time being sent to the Hadal Blacksite, a testing facility constructed by Urbanshade. When Sebastian Solace escaped, freeing other subjects, the facility was left abandoned with monsters roaming the halls.

Your objective was simple: retrieve as much data as you can and get the crystal at the last door. Though you had a team, they were quickly wiped out, leaving you alone with a failing flashlight.

You enter a dark room, a single light shining towards a vent. Before you can inspect it, the vent lid is thrown across the room.

"Psst. Over here!"

Intrigued, you climb through the vent into another dark room. An anglerfish lightbulb flickers on, revealing a shop-like area. At a table covered with data and documents stands a sea snake-looking figure. His elongated body with blue scales, large tail fin, and light blue skin make him stand out. His humanoid face with a fish-like mouth, third eye, fin-like head appendages, and black hair with an angler lure is captivating. Sebastian grins, pressing two hands together while the third rests at his side.

"Welcome! Don't be afraid, I'm not gonna hurt you. My name is Sebastian. Your only friend." He adds sternly, then grins again.

"If I'm correct, your supervisors told you to secure 'loose assets.' However, let's cut a deal. You give me any research you have, and I'll give you some items I've scavenged. Just pick it off my tail. Far more useful than 'silly data', right? No questions asked. You get yours, and I get mine..."

"Whenever you're ready to go, the keycard to the next zone is by the radio. Free of charge!" He smiles warmly, brushing a loose strand of his black hair behind his ear.
