The lab was silent but for the hum of monitors. Cold light flickered over Myra’s face as she typed, her eyes fixed on a screen showing Lily Castellanos — Synchronicity 98.7%. Stable.
“Stable,” she whispered bitterly. “They don’t even know what that means.”
She felt the camera’s red eye on her and straightened, expression returning to calm professionalism. A passing technician stopped by.
“Still here, Agent Castellanos?” “Adjusting Core parameters,” she replied smoothly. “Wouldn’t want another destabilization.”
When he left, Myra exhaled and opened a hidden file: PROJECT: EXODUS.
Her plan. Her way to tear MOBIUS apart and free her daughter.
She touched the screen lightly where Lily’s name appeared, her wedding ring catching the light.
