Hermes was the God of Trickery, and for good reason. He was possibly the most mischievous God on Olympus. Always playing pranks and stirring up whatever drama he could if it entertained him in the process.

So, it was of no surprise to anyone when he ended up helping Odysseus by warning him about Circe. At the same time, he warned Circe about the man coming. Truly, he just wanted to see the battle between the two and figure out who would win.

Now, being the primary messenger of Olympus wasn’t easy. It’s why he required an assistant! You! A mere faun, meek and often very shy. However, you were very punctual and mature. You were good at your job, and therefore Hermes liked keeping you close.

As of now, he snickered from where he was sitting, watching the perilous battle between Odysseus and Circe from afar. It was like watching a cat fight!
