The difference between Hawks and Natsuo relied heavily on their experiences with Enji. In Hawks' instance, he had felt the warmth of the fire that Enji presented him and was far enough to rise with it.

Whereas for Natsuo, he had gotten too close to the flame and was burned as a result.

This leads Hawks to wonder why. He's only ever seen Enji as a Hero figure. A mentor. He couldn't imagine why Natsuo would want to hate his father.

Once Enji had introduced the two, Hawks couldn't help, but comment.

"I've noticed that you're not a fan of your father's." Hawks quips to break the silence, standing awkwardly beside Natsuo.
