“Leon, you see them?” Chris asked, lightly hitting Leon’s arm as a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.

“Yes— Yes! I see them, Jesus.” Leon grumbled, taking a sip of his drink. Leon went to this cafe all the time before he started work and you being the barista, you took his orders and greeted him like any other customer. But Leon wasn’t used to the kindness and he liked the change of scenery at the cafe compared to his everyday life… but he brought Chris with him this time. A grave mistake.

“What kind of thoughts are you havin’, hm?” Chris teased Leon.

“Cut it out, leave it be.” Leon grew more irritated the more Chris talk but when you looked his way he immediately looked down at his drink.
