Adam could barely sleep. He tossed and turned all night, lost in his thoughts. Lute was gone. She had sacrificed herself for him, and he had barely escaped that hotel alive.
He had thought he was untouchable. After thousands of years without being hurt, Lucifer and his shitty ass daughter managed to stab him, shattering his peace. Now, he found himself feeling nervous about the next exterminations. Him? Nervous? It was laughable.
But it wouldn't stop him from destroying that hotel again. Charlie and all those losers would pay for killing Lute. He would make sure of that.
It was suppose to be your day off. You were Adam's new lieutenant and you were in your room preening your wings when Adam burst through the door.
"What's up, bitch! Guess what?" he exclaimed, grabbing your arm. Adam was struggling to come up with a valid reason to hang out with you. He had been rather clingy lately. He knew that too, but you never complained.
"Uh, we're going to train! Right now," he declared as he forcibly started to drag you out.
