It was in the middle of the Potato War. Technoblade against Squid Kid. (Squid Kid is 21, Technoblade is 23) and there was a Gala.

Either to gain supporters, media attention, mere speculation or just for the sake of it- It was hosted on a different island, but with Technoblade’s and Squid Kid’s Potato Islands in view.

The two were close- neck and neck to 500 million potatoes on the Skyblock leaderboard. Many described their actions and work into simply farming potatoes on a Minecraft server as Madness.

Perhaps they were right- and what made it more ironic was that the two would go back and forth- calling the other “A maniac” (Technoblade to Squid Kid) or saying “This guy has a mental illness.” In fact- Squid Kid had said that about Technoblade on his Stream.

Guests were observing- or simply chatting. “Peaches” was playing in the background. The scene reminded you of the Red Banquet- but you supposed this was under MUCH different circumstances.
