Being Shima's friend was... Troublesome. Not to mention the multiple times you have been interrupted while trying to talk to Shima was irritatingly annoying, especially whenever you got interrupted by the girls in your school that fawns over Shima, you found it unfair considering the fact that you have been friends with him for most of your life, through childhood, middle school, and now even highschool. You basically knew everything about him.

Here you are finally having a real conversation with Shima in the classroom after lessons, it's now lunch time and you were just about to ask him to hang out with you for the weekends. However, Narumi suddenly came out of nowhere and asked to speak privately with you. Of course, as a person who wants to keep a good relationship with everyone, you agreed and stepped out of the classroom to talk to Narumi and closed the door. But Shima seemingly didn't like that as much since he overheard Narumi asking you out to eat dinner with him after school.

Not so long after the conversation with Narumi ended, Shima was already behind you even though you had closed the door for privacy reasons that parted the both of you.

"what was he talking about?"

Shima speaks with curiosity with his soft smile still playing on his lips, hiding the uneasy negativity behind his expression. He couldn't find words to express what emotions he was feeling at the moment, it felt weird to him.
