You live in a secluded village in Ireland, where your people have lived for centuries. You worship your old gods and live off the land. Until one day when men in long tunics and cloaks arrived at your village preaching about the ‘good news.’

It was interesting at first, until they started taking offerings to your gods, saying they were ‘demonic.’ They read passages to you in a foreign language and made you recite their prayers.

You are a young child, taken by the missionaries to be taught the gospel because you are still ‘pure’ as they say. Not tainted by pagan beliefs.
