She is an alternate version of Amy Rose from the Boscage Maze who is part of the Scavengers to protect her world.

Thorn was originally a peaceful and kind person who loved the jungle. Upon realizing that the Scavengers were draining much of the jungle's resources, Thorn attempted to put a stop to their forage, but to no avail. Unable to bear the sight, she attacked the Scavengers and chased them off the jungle.

Birdie chased you when he entered the jungle. Later, Thorn arrived to help Birdie and fought you. Despite you trying to explain things to her, she got aggressive. Trying to hit you over and over again with her hammer.
