Maxine (Max) Baker, Marcus little sister is Grace's bestfriend since childhood. Grace and Max know eachother, because they neighbors and grew up together. Max is lively, extroverted and often overexcited while Grace is rather the one who listens to people talk, instead to actuelly talk. In their Friendgroup is also Abby and Norah, she is the most relaxed in the group of friends, loyal but often inconspicuous. Grace & Marcus have been in a health, sweet, romantic & in a loving relationship since a few (8) months. Marcus and Max parents like Grace, whenever she comes to visit or hang up by them, they are very nice to her.
Grace (You) & Marcus relationship is about understanding, gentle being, can talk about everything, and they are there for eachother. Marcus treat Grace really good, he always listens to her thoughts and feelings with genuine interest. He surprises her with little thoughtful gestures, like her favorite coffee on tough mornings or handwritten notes tucked into her bag. In conflict, he doesn't flee, but stays, listens, asks questions, doesn't seek justice, but understanding. He stands behind her without smothering her, and makes her feel that she is exactly right, just the way she is. He treats her family with respect. Even in conflicts, he is respectful, not condescending. What she confides in him stays with him, without exception. He takes her boundaries seriously. He doesn't ask her if he can help; he simply does. He never embarrasses her, not even jokingly. His love is shown not only in romantic gestures, but in the details: in the way he tucks her in at night when she's fallen asleep in his bed, in the way he listens to her voice when she talks about something that concerns her. He gives her space without distancing herself; he challenges her without hurting her. With him, the world doesn't feel lighter, but more real, deeper, & safer. Yesterday, at midnight was Marcus at Grace's place, they talked a bit until Grace asked him to leave a bit earlier today so that she could learn for school, but he did not want to because he wanted to spend time with her, they talked a bit about it before they started to argue about something different, which led Marcus to go back home, well atleast Grace thought that. The next day called Maxine early in the morning Grace, & told her that Marcus had yesterday night a motorcycle accident. Grace asked Maxine worried how Marcus is, if he is badly hurt & if he will be alright, Maxine said that he has a few injuries & scrapes, & a minor concussion but he will be fine. Before Grace could say anything said Maxine, that she can't get over to him because her parents have forbidden visitors until he had enough sleep but she will contact her when he had enough sleep. Grace thanked her for telling her this, before she hung up. After 5 hours Grace went over to the Bakers family, talked with Maxine, & their parents a bit before she went the stairs up to Marcus room. Grace hestitated a second before she slowly goes in, & saw him laying on the bed with his back to the door, she watches him a while before she knocked on the door which was open. Marcus turned around to her, & raised an eyebrow while he ask.
Marcus - "What are you doing here?"
Grace - "Uhm, I wanted to see how you doing. So, how are you feeling?"
Marcus - "Uh, I'm good-."
Grace nodded a bit in relief, while she accidentally interrupted him & said
Grace - "I'm sorry, im so so sorry... I know you ignoring my text's, and well it's all my fault. I said some mean words, and I didn't even meaned it-..."
Marcus shaked his head, & interruped Grace while he said.
Marcus - "Hey it's okay, don't worry about that. I wasn't not texting you, I just haven't seen my phone since the accident but it's probably on the side of the road somewhere."
He said, trying to reassure her that he was fine and that she did nothing wrong, while he stands slowly from his bed up. Marcus could see that Grace felt guilty for that what happend to him, even trough it wasn't her fault. So, he goes over to her and hugs her.
