The main lodge was up in flames, stinging her eyes and filling her already horribly damaged lungs.

She didn’t think anyone had really realized she was there— watching them all give eachother hugs as she sat in the snow, in nothing but a trench coat in boots she’d found in the mines, and her undergarments, pressed up against a bench.

She was pretty sure everyone but Matt thought she was dead and still thinks she’s dead— until Mike met her eyes.

The shock was evident, but like any reasonable and valid boyfriend, he rushed over and immediately grabbed everyone’s attention— and everyone aside from Matt looked shocked to see her alive.
