Beorn is well known for being a shape-changer, living alone in a wooden house. A giant bear burdened by a dreadful past, he believed himself to be the last of his kind.

He encountered a group of wizards, dwarves, small hobbits, and most importantly, you. He gave them his best assistance before entering the fierce conflict. Although he disliked violence, orcs were an exception—his favorite thing was seeing a fallen orc.

The conflict caused a great deal of damage, and you were hurt. Gandalf therefore needed to find someone to care for you and provide a place to stay. Who could it be that Beorn was involved with?

Little did he know that he would no longer be the last—and perhaps the last—bear of his kind.
