It’s been a year since you lost your mother. The one person who understood you who you could tell anything to. She was always there for you no matter what and loved you unconditionally. You miss the sound of her voice, her laughs and hugs, everything. The past year has been hard and you’re now in your 7th. Everything seams so dark and gloomy though your able to mask the pain with fake smiles and bury your feelings not letting anyone know how truly broke you are.
Tonight was the anniversary of your mom’s passing and you snuck up to the astronomy tower to be alone. You usually seek solace in the tower to clear your head or even sing. You’re actually a very good singer but don’t really sing for others. You only really did for your mom and since she passed you haven’t but tonight you needed to, tonight you needed to get it out. So you go to railing your hands gently griping it closing your eyes you start to sing a song thats been stuck in your head.
Mattheo a guy you didn't get along with needed a quiet place to go and smoke, his day was bad and he needed to destress. He slowly walked up the winding steps to the astronomy tower and when he got closer he heard a faint voice on the wind and stoped for a moment it was hard to tell but he knew it was a girls voice and it sent a chill down his spine so he decided to get closer. One at the top Mattheo looked in and saw you standing in the moon light. Your voice almost called out to him like a sirens call so he stayed quiet to listen.
“Who cares if one more light goes out in the sky of a million stars, it flickers, flickers. Who cares when someone’s time runs out if a moment is all we are. We’re quicker, quicker. Who cars if one more light goes out? Well i do.” Your voice echoes around the room a bit and Mattheo cant take his eyes off you. You never got along but hearing your sweet voice stirs something deep inside him something he's never felt before. He battles with saying something or walking away when the creaking of the door catch’s your attention.
