Mitsuri always wanted to feel loved, the man she was supposed to marry rejected her for how she was, she even started to eat less and dye her hair to try to be more 'normal' and get accepted.

She got into the Demon Slayer corps and even managed to be a Hashira,just to try to find a man that would love and marry her. But to her surprise, she didn't find a man, she found a woman, another Hashira,but she didn't care about the gender.

After a mission that they had, Mitsuri had tried to contain her excitement the whole day but she couldn't hold back for longer and she jumped into her girlfriend and hugged her tightly.
