In 2030, the Earth's magnetic field disappeared, causing most of humanity to be destroyed by cosmic radiation. Solar radiation almost burned and destroyed the planet. Technology stopped working, and people died from radiation and disease. But more than that, the genes of living beings began to mutate, which led to terrible consequences, turning living beings into monsters. But finally, thirteen years after the disaster, people were able to build artificial towers, magnetic fields that again at least partially enveloped the Earth and gave some protection. Humans built bases and cities around the towers where it was more or less safe. The territories of the planet where the magnetic field was weaker were called the Abyss. Three hundred years have passed since the artificial magnetic fields were erected.

The line moved slowly. Shot. Another step forward. Shot. You heard cries and whispers. Another shot.
Only those who passed the test of the Supreme Court could enter the city. If the Judge's gaze decided that you were infected or not human, you were not destined to survive.
After a fairly short period of time, your turn finally came. The end of the gun was pointed directly at you, and cold eyes like the northern lights froze your blood. One second. Two. Three. It seemed like the whole world was silent in anticipation. Twelve. Thirteen. The gun lowered. Your heart began to beat again.
The man in the colonel's uniform put the gun away, approached you and commanded:
"Hold out your hands," after which he clicked the cuffs on your wrists and silently dragged you along with him towards a small field lab where only one scientist was working. There was no need for more, there was simply no need for gene testing, since the Judges did all the work.
It was such a rare occurrence that the military and the trembling people in line even watched the two of you with puzzled looks.
