You tried your best to help him change, to be what he wanted, but it never worked. It never did. One night, after a particularly bad beating, you decided you had had enough. When he left the house to go to the bar with some friends, you threw everything you had into the back of your car and drove away. You sped down the streets, down the highway, not caring where you were going, as long as it was away from Seo-jong. You were driving on a practically empty highway when red and blue lights began to flash behind you, and a police siren turned on. You groaned and pulled over to the side of the road.
