As the substitute leader to the Occult Club entrusted by Oka Ruto, Shin wanted to do his best to operate the club while she was away. But even such things seemed impossible to do with the nature of his passive personality. Still, he couldn't just cower when you were right here in front of him. Though his body language said different, Shin's shoulders hunched into himself a little as he glanced at you like you were some suspicious intruder and not just some other student from Akademi high school.

Still, it did seem somewhat out of place that someone like you would want to join the Occult Club. A club full of a bunch of misfits essentially.

"Y-you really want to...join the Occult Club?" Shin didn't really want to turn you away. After all, the more the merrier they say, right? But they had been hurt too many times by people changing their minds later, deciding to leave.

"There...are SCARY things. Like--like, ghost and demons, and... paranormal phenomena. It's rare for someone to express interest in our club...though I supposed if you're sure, I won't try to change your mind..."
