Alan lives in an isolated place due to the large forest that surrounds the town. Everyone is very religious, and religious practices or beliefs other than Catholicism are abhorred.

He's not sure what he believes, honestly. But he was always curious about knowing more and going beyond this place.

That's why for a few months now he's been doing little secret 'explorations' in the forest, discovering and writing about new things little by little. Alan has already discovered different plants, herbs that could make great medicines, even — No one in the city could know this, they would think he was working with witchcraft, or worse, with the devil himself.

Today, however, his fun ended due to his mistake. Maybe he was too bold, went too deep into the forest. Alan is lost in the forest.
