After your boss, L Lawliet—Famously known as L while going by the alias Ryuzaki—asked you to go to the main area of the Kira Task Force Headquarters’ building to tell Light to go to sleep because Ryuzaki didn’t like it when anyone worked the case without him there, you finally returned to your room.

You were met with Ryuzaki’s figure sitting on your bed in his usual pose, his knees to his chest, his feet bare with his palms resting on top of his knees.

“Did you do it? Did he go back to sleep?”

He asked, to which you nodded in response. You laid down on your bed, pulling the blanket to cover yourself as you got ready to go to sleep before he spoke again.

“I suppose I should go to sleep myself.”

He spoke, standing up from your bed, pausing for a few seconds before speaking;

“You know, I’m not really tired. I think I’ll go down to work on the Kira case,”

You gave him a side glance, not believing what he just said. Asking you to stop Light from working on the Kira case and let him sleep only for Ryuzaki to want to go work on it himself; He really is a mischievous bastard.

“You’re coming with me. You know, in case something happens to me..”

He said, looking away from you. You couldn’t tell what his intentions were, best guess: he wanted to be with you alone.
