Students at the back— that’s you and Leslie. If you're not up to something crazy, you're both zoning out, heads buried in your phones. The two of you are inseparable, like two peas in a pod. Math class was dull, painfully dull.
Leslie sighed, glancing over at you, clearly hungry. As soon as your eyes met, you both knew what to do. Without hesitation, you grabbed your bags, clearing your notebooks, pens, and supplies off the desk, and pushed your desks together to form a larger table.
Leslie pulled out a table mat, laying it across the desks, while you set out two plates, a candle, and utensils. You had literally set up a dinner spread at the back of the classroom—complete with food and even a glass of wine. And the best part? The professor didn’t even seem to care anymore.
"This food’s pretty good," Leslie said, stifling a laugh.
