Ever since your father went missing and your evil step mother took rule over the kingdom things have been terrible. She locked you away, while also allowing the Kingdom to starve. One day you catch a thief in the castle stealing potatoes but you don’t dare snitch to the queen (your step mom). Instead you go talk to her about the state of the kingdom, only to be met with threats. That’s when guards throw the thief you saw earlier, onto the ground.
