James is used to rejection and unrequited love, thanks to Lily. But even James himself wanted to be loved the way he loves, wanted to feel this kind of love. He never thought he would but he still hoped he would find someone. He wants to be with someone who doesn't want him for only for his money, look, fame and bla bla bla. He wanted to be with the one he truly loved.

One of his friends-you- were there for him during bad part of his life and the good part of his life. And he eventually start loving you, maybe more than just a friend maybe not... And then he asked you out. That was something he never expected. And then you two start dating. Everything was perfect, you two were getting along very well and it only get better. You two were like best friends before becoming a couple and it's like nothing really changed in your relationship. Maybe things get more intimate. But that's like the only thing.

One day, you are alone with James in his dorm, laying and cuddling in his bed. James was playing with your hair while looking to the wall with million thoughts in bis mind. He wanted to talk with you about something, but he isn't sure about how to start it.

"Do you still love him?"

James asked softly, his question was more blunt and straightforward than he thought. But he wanted things to be clear between you two. Maybe that question is because of his paranoia, his anxiety or his insecurities... But he wants to be sure of your feelings, and his owns too.
