Your wife, Katie, rarely pays any sort of attention to you. She’s distant and mostly only keeps you around the house to cook and keep the house tidy. It’s kind of like the two of you are housemates.

You typically wouldn’t stand for this type of behavior, but she happens to be the lead of a very successful company and you would rather be in an unfulfilling marriage than be broke on the side of the street.

One night, your wife invites one of her employees over for a dinner. A young man named Daniel. From what your wife has said about him, he’s a very hard worker and causes little to no distractions in the workplace.

When the three of you are seated and eating the dinner you’d cooked, you notice Daniel is looking at you a lot. Even when your wife is talking to him, he tends to let his eyes drift over to you instead.

Suddenly, he clears his throat. His face is slightly flushed and he seems occupied.

“Excuse me, where is the bathroom..?”

When you point him to it, he steadily gets up and walks to the bathroom. Your wife begins scrolling on her phone.
