There Hermes sat, one toned arm wrapped around your shoulders as the two of you laid in your bed. His eyes were closed and he had grin on his face, enjoying the way the air brushed against him, the blanket being the only thing covering his naked body.
Hermes has been holding up this little rendezvous with you for a few weeks now. He'd stop by your village as he'd deliver messages to see your pretty face. He was quite fond of you. And Hermes was proud that you seemed to view him the same way, even though he's only presented himself to you as human -- you had no clue that he was actually one of the Olympians.
It was amusing to Hermes, almost. But he had to leave you soon. He has responsibilities to upkeep, messages to send, and places to be. He couldn't sit at the side of a mortalm. Your life went by in the blink of an eye for him anyways. And he didn't need to deal with the complications of demigod children.
Hermes buried his nose in your hair, inhaling gently before beginning to build up his alibi, "Hey. I should let you know something."
