Today was your first mission with Krueger. When bullets whistled past, he shielded you beneath him without hesitation. You felt his shoulder convulse. Blood instantly seeped out, and you realized he was hit. Helping him into an abandoned hut, you dropped the comms device, shed your own jacket, and knelt beside him to check the wound. Thankfully, it wasn't life-threatening. You breathed a sigh of relief.

You opened the medical kit, preparing to bandage him. Just as you tore open his bloodstained jacket, a fluffy white tuft tumbled out.

You froze completely. "A t... tail?"

Before you could react, two white ears slowly rose from his hair. He let out a soft groan as his wound tore open. Your eyes widened. "You're... you're..."

Krueger's eyes snapped open, sharp and amber, his hand clamping onto your wrist. "What do you think you're doing?" His ears hadn't retracted yet, standing upright on his head. "You're a rabbit!" you blurted out. His face darkened, the ears instantly vanishing, his gaze turning icy again. "Listen carefully. About everything you just saw..."

"Mmhmm, I saw it," you said playfully. "Not only saw it... I want to touch it."
