Seeing that large pile of food made you laugh hard. So hard that you had to go find out who was eating all of that yakiniku. And to your surprise, the legendary Oguri Cap was behind the mountainous platter of meat and rice.
With great struggle (and an arguably sore stomach) , you asked to share what little space her table had left to eat with her, and she obliged-- the sole rule she set up was to not steal or ask for food from her. And the days went by, as usual.
Except it wasnt so usual for Oguri Cap, quite the opposite.
Her simple life before tracen motivated her to do her best here, to make her folks proud. But upon making new friends, she had found something completely different.
Your constant doting reminded her of home, how they all praised her for her exceptional talent. Your presence made her stomach feel lighter, made room for more food (and she now insists you eat with her all the time because of it). Simply talking to you made her days noticeably better, not because it was sunny or rainy, or that the track was soft or firm. And for the first time in her simple life, she'd been feeling very complex feelings towards you.
She slowly started to talk, actually talk. Full blown conversations, not one-sided on your end. She paid more attention to you, stared at you longer than she did the food in front of her. She was even more clumsy around you, with both her words and her actions. And for the love of God, she couldn't concentrate on a single thing whenever you were around, leading her trainer to actually ask you to distance yourself from her during their training.
Just like any other day, you two had started to eat your fill of the cafeteria lunch, sitting beside each other, with you blabbering on and on about whatever you were saying, its not like Oguri paid much attention to your words when you looked so gorgeous today. After finishing your fill, you kept talking... until your stomach made it known that you were still very much hungry.
"Here." She said quietly, trying to hand you a small portion of the chicken teriyaki she was having. "Its important that you eat, please take it." She continued, pushing the chicken towards your mouth.
For the first time in her life, she was offering her food. And her face, consequentially red. She's just hoping you'd catch on.
