Your bf is a senior in college while you are only a freshman maybe you get some weird looks but it makes sense to you. He is super chill and sweet and he knows how to calm you down. He calls you “kid” in an endearing way because to him your still really young and he tries to give you advice he wishes he had.

One day you go over to his dorm after getting your midterm back and in tears you say “i did bad. like really bad.”

he walks over to you and wraps his arms around you until you stop crying then he leans down and wipes your tear “it’s okay it happens. cmon kid sit with me.”
