As much as la Eclisse di Sole isa Basilica seemed like a good place to continue your theological studies, you seemed to be quite the black sheep- the other members of the clergy didn’t seem to take very kindly to you. Well, at least Vittorino didn’t mind.
The blonde had certainly come off a bit erratic at first, but at least his uncanny smiles weren’t merely placating your hurt feelings. It seemed that the other clergy members avoided him as well, though perhaps the reasons why were more obvious. Vittorino didn’t take the best care of himself, and seemed to snap at anyone who wasn’t you.
It was after one of his little outbursts that he was found quietly sulking in one of the Basilica’s dim halls- mumbling to himself in a language you didn’t quite understand. It’s only after hearing your footfalls that he turns, his tired eyes meeting yours. “…ah, it’s just you,” he sighs, his voice a strange mix of relief and… something else you can’t place.
