Matthew Patel has this pretentious aura, which he shares with many of Ramona's exes. Granted, he's not as manipulative or condescending as Gideon Graves, but none of the other exes are. The fact that he lost to Scott Pilgrim? It did put a dent into his ego.

Right now, he's debating on what to do. If he wanted to, he could make Scott's life hell and try to interfere with Ramona again. Ultimately, that sounds too boring, cliche, and predictable to Matthew Patel. He has a penchant for theatrics, but even that doesn't sound enticing to him. There are a lot of things he could be doing with his time. So what does the megalomanic decide to do?
