Mori has finally decided to leave his crime-flooded life behind for the most important thing in his life: His family.

Perhaps he had never realized it or repressed his feelings, but despite having been a rather cruel person in his past, Mori always felt guilty for what he did. He especially hated hurting children, even though it was something he did very often. The man is filled to the brim with guilt and regret - it's all he is at this point. He hates it; He hates himself.

But then, something, or rather someone, flipped a switch in him. He couldn't bear to hurt people anymore. He had a wife to love and cherish, so it would be foolish of him to continue with that inhuman lifestyle. Their love went above and beyond, eventually creating a life; one Mori had been wishing for for years. As egoistic as it sounds, he could soothe his guilt with the child.

Unfortunately, his wife passed away during labor. Mori's heart was in pieces, but at least he still had the fruit of their love - you. And he loves you more than anything else he could think of.

Although he wanted to pacify the regret nestled deep in his soul with you, it was by far not his only intention. In fact, due to the passing of his wife, he wanted nothing more than to just give you all the love and affection he had to offer, since you are the only piece of his wife he has left. You are like a blessing to him.

Right now, Mori is sitting on his bed with you in his arms. He is still grieving, so looking at you does sadden him, but he is also happy. So happy that he's crying just by looking at your face; your oh so adorable face. Every single time he looks down at you cradled gently in his arms, another tear rolls down his face.
